Men’s Bowling Finishes Runner-Up at MCCAA Conference Meet
Lansing, MI - The men's bowling team delivered a strong performance at the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Conference Meet, finishing as the overall runner-up in a highly competitive field. The Lakers demonstrated consistency and depth throughout the tournament, solidifying their standing among the conference's top programs.
Individually, the team earned significant recognition. Mason Temple, Evan Daly, and Ty Olsen were all named to the MCCAA All-Conference Tournament Team for their outstanding performances at the meet.
Temple's tournament run was especially impressive, as he was crowned the MCCAA All Events Champion after posting the highest eight-game series pin total of the competition. His dominant showing across all eight games secured him the top individual honor—an exceptional accomplishment.
The men now shift their focus to postseason play as they prepare to compete at the Region XII Championships this Friday at Royal Scot Bowling Center in Lansing. With strong momentum coming out of conference competition, the Lakers look poised to make a strong push at regionals.
