Mid Places 4th at MCCAA North Meet

Alanson, MI - For the first time this season, Mid Michigan's Men's Cross Country has a team score, finishing in 4th place in the MCCAA North Division.  With a complete roster at its disposal, the Lakers scored 91 points as a team.

Drew Moore is the Conference Runner of the year once again - a feat he also claimed during his freshman campaign in 2024.  His first place finish in the 8k saw him run a season best time of 27:02.39.   Teammate Ace Pierson recorded a personal best 29:32.7 while finishing 9th.

Logan Dudley also had a season personal record run of 31:01.72 finishing 17th. In their Cross Country debuts, freshman Carter Peacock (31st) crossed the line in 37:53.8 and Jackson Griffin (33rd) finished in 38:49.4.

On the women's side, Natalie Lemert raced a 5k running the rolling hills in 23:32 and finishing in 26th place.

The Lakers will run next weekend at the Firebird Invitational in Grayling.
