MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Five players reached double figures, led by Alexus Dunn's 16 points, and the No. 10 Mid Michigan College women's basketball team rolled to an 86-36 victory over Grand Rapids Community College on Saturday (Dec. 21) afternoon from Morey Courts.
Dunn added five rebounds, three steals, and two assists in the win for the Lakers (11-2), who led 25-5 after the first quarter and 51-14 at halftime. The Raiders (1-6) struggled offensively, shooting just 22% from the field.
Paige Ebels posted 12 points, while Rachel Resio and Chloe Watson scored 11 points each. Addysen Gray recorded 10.
Watson added seven rebounds and three assists, while Resio pulled down six rebounds.
Mid will return to action following the holiday break and look to add to their seven game winning streak, hosting Schoolcraft at 1:00 PM on Saturday (Jan. 4) at Morey Courts.
