Bio

Jewel Larkins is entering her second season as an Assistant Coaches for the Lakers. Jewel coaches AAU basketball and is skills trainer for youth athletes.  Larkins was a standout player at CMU from 2012-17. During the 2016-2017 season, Jewel led the team in field-goal percentage (.578), and finished her career ranking fifth with a 52.5 field-goal percentage. She was named to the Third Team All-MAC in her senior season, and named the Sixth Player of the Year in her junior season.

Jewel earned a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with a minor in Substance Abuse Education in 2017. Later, she earned her masters degree in Administration with a concentration in Training and Development from CMU in 2019.
