Wright Earns Player of the Week Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Michigan Community College Athletic Association announced its players of the week for the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1 on Tuesday, Dec 3rd.
Mid-Michigan College men's basketball sophomore James Wright was named MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week after scoring 25 points and pulling down 12 rebounds in the Lakers 82-81 victory over Bryant and Stratton last Tuesday (Nov. 26) evening at Morey Courts.
Wright registered his fourth double-double of the year and hit the game-winning shot to lift the Lakers past the Bobcats for their fifth win of the season.
Men's basketball is 5-3 overall so far this season and will host Jackson on Wednesday night from Morey Courts, tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm following the women's contest.
